Types of Glass Cabinet Locks

Glass cabinets are used as display cabinets in commercial centers, shops and even as interior cabinets. Depending on the opening ways, there are suitable glass cabinet lock types as follows:

Single-glass cabinet door lock: will be installed on the cabinet with single hinged door. The lock body will be installed at the bottom corner of the cabinet door, opposite to the hinge. When the key is entered and turned, a bolt moves and protrudes into the strike plate installed in the lower door frame.

Double-glass cabinet door lock: will be installed on the double glass hinged cabinet. It is designed with a longer lock body so that when installing the lock on one door, the long body will hold the other door and both doors are locked when the key is turned.

Ratchet lock and a push button lock: installed on Sliding door glass cabinet. For the ratchet lock, the ratchet part is mounted to the back sliding door, while the lock body will be inserted into the ratchet part to help you lock the cabinet when the key is turned. For  the push button lock, a key hole will be drilled in the aluminum frame of the back sliding door,  while the padlock is installed in the front sliding door. When the key is turned, the bold will be protruded correctly into the correct keyhole.
